About the Foundation

It was by accident that 12 years ago, Eddie and Brenda were brought to the village of El Valle, Dominican Republic.  The poverty in the area was heartbreaking, but the energy in the people was inspiring.  That is when their love for that small village began.  Early on during the local celebration of three kings day, the family would bring toys to the children of El Valle.

Seeing the overwhelming need and substandard living conditions of the people increased their desire to do more, not only for children, but the elderly as well.  They have never forgotten where they came from and are proud to also give back to local communities in need in the U.S.

This desire to give led them to establish The Eddie and Brenda Trujillo Family Foundation, a non-profit charitable 501(c)(3) organization whose goal is to aid the less fortunate in meaningful ways so as to create self-sufficiency.

About our Founders

Eddie Trujillo emigrated from his native Havana Cuba in 1971 to New Jersey believing in the American Dream. Eduardo "Eddie Trujillo" began his quest to become an over achiever, always applying to his life the values and morals taught by his parents.   Eddie has always been an exemplary supporter of many charities to help the less fortunate.   In addition to financial support, he has given of his time unselfishly.   Brenda Trujillo has been an active and devoted supporter who shares his overwhelming sense of urgency to give back to those lacking basic necessities, and who require help to survive. The Eddie and Brenda Trujillo Family Foundation has been created with the belief that it is more blessed to give than to receive, and has applied that core to the family's legacy.
